Limiting Instance Types in Metworx GUI

As of the Metworx GUI 3.5.0 release, you as an Organizational Admin have the ability to restrict the instance types that are available to your users during workflow creation. This guide will walk you through step-by-step how to accomplish this in the Metworx GUI.

Instructions

  1. Upon logging into the Metworx Platform as an Organizational Admin, you should now have access to a new option under your Org Menu titled Edit $OrgName Instance Types

  1. Upon navigating to this page, you will be greeted with a list of instance types present in Metworx. All selected/checked marked instance types are available to users during workflow creation. To limit the number of options available to users, simply deselect the instance types you don't want to include and hit Submit!

  1. Once you have successfully saved, your users will no longer be able to access the instance types you deselected during workflow creation.
