Creating an SSH Key pair

  1. Login to your AWS account that will host your Metworx workflows via the AWS console, and make sure you are in the correct region.

  2. There are multiple options -- you can create a key pair OR import your existing public key. Choose an option that works best for your needs. If you are not sure what you need, then create a new key pair.

    1. Follow the AWS Instructions to create or import the ssh key pair: AWS Instructions to create a Key Pair
    2. Make sure to NOTE the name of the key pairs in AWS. In this example, the created key pair name is demo-orgadmin-key.

  3. Configure Metworx to use the newly created key pair.

    1. Login to Metworx as OrgAdmin.
    2. Under Admin Section, go to "Edit Credentials" 2020 05 10 14 29 49
    3. Type in the key pair NAME to be used in the AWS Keys field. 2020 05 10 14 31 59
    4. Click on "Update Organization" all the way at the bottom of the screen.
